Pregnancy Yoga

What is Pregnancy Yoga?

Pregnancy Yoga (or Pre-Natal Yoga) is an adapted type of yoga designed to support and accompany women throughout pregnancy, from their 1st to 38th week. Using various supports and props (such as cushions, yoga bricks, bolsters etc.), the postures are adapted for pregnancy and for particular needs and requirements. There is no need to have done any yoga before!

Pregnancy Yoga brings many benefits for future mums, and can greatly help the process of pregnancy: hormonal changes, body changes and various pains and discomforts that can be helped with this practice, nurturing the body and mind deeply, and helping to prepare the body for the moment of birth.

There is a secret in our culture, and it’s not that birth is painful.

It’s that women are strong.”
